HOW TO CLYND

Learn how to use the CLYND Regular Washing Machine Cleaner Descaler.

A Deep Clean in Just One Cycle

Ready to banish musty odors and restore your washer’s sparkle? You are just one cycle away from a fresher, cleaner machine. CLYND Washing Machine Cleaner Descaler tablets are designed for "drop-and-go" simplicity, engineered to break down stubborn residue without the scrubbing.

Below are the step-by-step instructions to ensure you get the most out of your CLYND Washing Machine Cleaner Descaler deep-cleaning treatment. Follow this routine twice a month to protect your investment and keep your laundry factory-fresh.

PREPARE THE MACHINE

PLACE THE TABLET

Select the optimal wash cycle

Step 1: Prepare the machine

Ensure your washing machine is completely empty. Do not include any clothes or laundry detergent.

Step 2: Place the tablet

Remove one (1) tablet from its protective wrapper. Place the tablet directly into the washer drum.

  • IMPORTANT: DO NOT place the tablet in the detergent dispenser drawer.

Step 3: Select the optimal wash cycle

Select the "Normal" cycle and choose the Hot Water setting.

  • Note: If your machine allows you to select a load size, choose the Largest Load option to ensure maximum water flow.
  • Note: If your machine has a dedicated "Clean Washer" or "Tub Clean" cycle, use that instead.

Step 4: Wipe seals and surfaces

Once the cycle is complete, inspect the drum. You may see dislodged residues or black specks—this is normal and means the cleaner worked! Simply use a clean towel to wipe away any remaining residue from the drum floor and walls.

Step 5: Air-dry the machine

Leave the washer door ajar for at least 30 minutes to let air circulate and dry out residual moisture. This simple habit inhibits mold growth, lingering odors, and keeps the interior fresh.

PRO TIPS FOR HOMEOWNERS

The "Heavy Duty" Reset

If your machine has heavy grime buildup or hasn't been cleaned in over 6 months, pre-wet a rag and lightly scrub visible buildup before running the tablet. You may also need to repeat the cleaning process (Steps 1-4) a second time to fully eliminate years of accumulation.

Front Loader Secret

For front-loading machines, odors often hide behind the rubber gasket. After the cleaning cycle, gently pull back the rubber door seal and wipe the area behind it with a towel to remove trapped moisture and loosened gunk.

Set a Reminder

Consistency is key. A once-every-1-2-month routine keeps your washer performing and smelling its best.

Leave it Open

After every cleaning cycle (and regular wash loads), leave the washer door or lid slightly open. This allows airflow to dry out the drum, preventing mold spores from settling in damp crevices.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Keep Out of Reach

Store the box in a cool, dry place away from children and pets. The tablets look like candy to small children.

Eye & Skin Irritant

Avoid touching your eyes after handling the tablet. Wash hands thoroughly after placing the tablet in the drum.

Do Not Mix

Never mix this product with bleach, vinegar, or other household chemicals, as this may cause hazardous reactions.

Not for Laundry

Do not use this product with clothes in the washer. It is a harsh descaler meant for the machine's internal components only.

MAINTENANCE BEST PRACTICES

Monthly Cleaning Routine

For households with pets, run a cleaning cycle once a month to stay ahead of fur, dander, and odor buildup. For lighter use, every six to eight weeks is sufficient.

Wipe Seals & Gaskets

After each laundry day, quickly wipe down the rubber door seal (especially on front loaders). This prevents pet hair, lint, and moisture from becoming trapped.

Air It Out

Leave the washer door slightly ajar after use. Airflow helps prevent mold, mildew, and odors.

Filter Check

Inspect your machine’s drain filter regularly. Pet hair often collects here and can block proper drainage if ignored.

Skip the Shortcuts

While home remedies like vinegar or baking soda may sound convenient, frequent use can corrode machine parts. CLYND tablets are designed to clean deeply without damaging seals or metals.
